His current researchinterests include sexual and reproductive health, adult mortality, fertility, familydemography, health systems and interventions. He is also the Editor-in-Chief ofAfrican Population Studies, and Assistant Editor of African Journal of ReproductiveHealth. He has a PhD in Demography and Social Statistics from Obafemi AwolowoUniversity, Ife, Nigeria, and Certificate in International Health from Harvard Schoolof Public Health.
