Elisa Hoven: Dr. Elisa Hoven holds a PhD in international criminal law from the Free University of Berlin (Germany) and is a legal assistant to Professor Claus Kreß at the Institute for Peace and Security Law at the Universtiy of Cologne. She studied law at the Free University of Berlin, Radboud Universitaet Nijmegen (Netherlands) and the University of Cambridge (UK). She worked for the Civil Parties at the ECCC and for Judge Kaul at the ICC. She was a Visiting Scholar at the War Crimes Studies Center at Berkeley and conducted research at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, Harvard University. Mareike Feiler: Mareike Feiler is a PhD candidate at the University of Marburg and is writing about the concept of reparations in trials mass crimes. She studied at the Free University of Berlin and is working for the Federal German Government at as a legal advisor for the Chancellor’s spokesperson. She holds a Master of International Law and International Relations (University of New South Wales). She worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Los Angeles and conducted research at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, Harvard University. Saskia Scheibel: Saskia Scheibel studied Media and Communications (MSc) at the London School of Economics and has been involved in several empirical studies and market research projects. She was a Visiting Researcher at the University of Marburg and conducted research at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, Harvard University.
