I have gained weight many times in my life, above all due to my two pregnancies. My weight constantly went up and down. The whole thing reached a climax when I gained a respectable 35 kilos within three years. All I had were binges because I was eating so many sweet things. Fattening with carbohydrates is what it is called when you eat BAD carbohydrates (with a high glycemic index) in combination with fat. I suddenly weighed 120 kg at a height of 1.70 m. The reason for this was a hypofunction of the thyroid first diagnosed at a late stage.
I decided to leave out the BAD carbohydrates – especially in combination with fat. I only ate the GOOD carbohydrates – apart from a few exceptions. Yet that doesn’t mean I didn’t weaken at the sight of mango-pineapple sorbet. However, I promptly got my desserts because I had another episode of binging, of course, where I scoffed 1.5 kilos of mango-pineapple sorbet and 150 g of fat cheese just like that. This means that I gobbled down 3820 calories on that day. I didn’t dare to get on the scales the next day either….

Mein Name ist Kerstin Stieler. Meine Bücher habe ich unter dem Pseudonym Yasmina Herz geschrieben. Ich bin seit 1993 verheiratet und ich habe 2 Mädels zur Welt gebracht. Außerdem hatten wir 2 Hunde - Lucky und Nubee. Nubee ist am 1.04.2012 gestorben. Sie fehlt uns sehr. 2006 habe ich die Ausbildung zur Industriekauffrau erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Seit Oktober 2006 arbeite ich als Geistheilerin. Seit 2010 bin ich Autorin.
