The concern of this work is based on the concern about climate change, which today has reached dimensions that go beyond the acid rain of the 1980s (Daly 1996). Therefore, starting from Europe, the laws of the primeval forest are examined so that it becomes evident how a forest system functions from an evolutionary point of view. It may be possible to narrow down ecological scarcities and explore… migratory movements of tree species. Although a lot of research was done on primeval forests in the middle to end of the last century, challenges have increased in the meantime, so that the findings are
partly outdated. In order to be able to make sufficiently reliable statements, the scope of the primeval and natural forests of the northern hemisphere was therefore chosen. The topic of the study is to deal with the possibility of standardising primeval forest cycles in order to compare spatially widely separated primeval forests and to gain knowledge from this.
After a comprehensive theoretical research with regard to existing yield studies, primeval forest models are designed, which are statistically processed with BWIN-PRO simulations. The evaluation of the results is interesting in order to be able to conclude evolutionary relationships from growth parameters and to derive laws for a primeval forest-like thriving of trees. For the newly developed parameters evolution percentage and CNCR variable, a good agreement with the natural conditions
could be achieved. This creates the basis for restoring forests, imitating calamities and establishing climate-relevant management rules. Dieses Produkt haben wir gerade leider nicht auf Lager.
