It presents the approach taken by Procura+, ICLEI's Sustainable Procurement Campaign - an approach based around five milestones, and a set of easy-to-apply key purchasing criteria for six high-priority product groups - buses, construction, cleaning products and services, electricity, food, and IT equipment.
It also answers several key questions including "Does it cost more?", "How do I decide what is a green product?", and "Is it Legal?", as well as providing key arguments for convincing others within an administration of its merits.
