Eve Zibart has written more about dining and entertainment than most people experience in a lifetime. In her early years as the pop music and culture reporter for, first, the Nashville Tennessean and then for the Washington Post, Eve quickly exhibited a flair for scene and sensory detail coupled with an aptitude for grammar and an extensive vocabulary. She rapidly moved through the ranks of the Post as a Style feature writer, a Maryland columnist, the TV editor, and a Weekend assistant editor. In addition to her responsibilities at the Post, Eve is a columnist for Book Page and has been a regular contributor to USAir inflight, New England Financial Journal, Impress, and Four Seasons magazines. She has also written for Cosmopolitan, Town and Country, and Playboy. Given an amazing ability to turn 24 hours into 30, Eve has found time to author several books, including The Ethnic Food Lover's Companion; The Eclectic Gourmet Guide to Washington, D.C.; The Unofficial Guide to New Orleans; The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World for Grown-Ups; and Inside Disney: The Incredible Story of Walt Disney World and the Man Behind the Mouse. Bob Sehlinger is the creator and executive publisher of the Unofficial Guide series. He has authored over 20 books on travel and outdoor recreation. Native New Yorker Rachel F. Freeman (Dining and Nightlife contributor) believes it is her duty to act as both foodie and nightowl. Having lived abroad for 11 years, she returned to New York with a renewed hunger for what the city has to offer, resisting the temptation to join the ranks of the jaded. She has written for guidebooks in Warsaw, Poland and has a passion for Edinburgh and the Highlands and Islands of Scotland. She has written for Poland Business Guide, Wider Insider, Warsaw Insider, and Voyage magazine. Lea Lane is a hotel maven, visiting and researching perhaps 1,000 rooms around the world--including in The Big Apple--for many guidebooks and trade publications, such as Birnbaum's United States, Zagat's Hotel and Resort Survey, and Star Service, the premiere travel agent reference. In addition, Lea has been a columnist for Gannett Suburban newspapers, a TV travel and lifestyle reporter, managing editor of the newsletter Travel Smart, and co-author of a book on cruises. She is a major contributor to guidebooks about Geece, Naples, and the Amalfi Coast, and is the author of The Unofficial Guide to Bed & Breakfasts and Country Inns in New England.
