Andreas Anders-Wilkens was born in 1969 in Germany. In 1987 he has learned to ride a unicycle and since then he has been meeting up regularly with other unicyclists in order to explore the wide range of possibilities this unique tool offers. He supported his studies in humanities at university by acting as a freelance artist doing unicycling, stilt walking and juggling. He has taught unicycling to all kinds of people, amongst others to sports instructors studying at the University of Munich from 1994 to 1997. He has also taught at many other places like primary schools, youth centers and adult education centers. In 2003 he became a teacher of German and English at German high schools and in the same year he founded a school for circus arts.
Robert Mager has been a unicyclist since 1989. He is a course leader at many educational institutions and he lectures unicycling at the Center for University Sports in Frankfurt, Germany. He is also the co-founder of a Unicycling-Hockey team in Frankfurt. As a specialist in long distances he has been Unicycling World Champion in several disciplines since 1996. In 1992 he travelled 1.200 km from Frankfurt to Banyoles in Spain - on a unicycle and in 12 days, and in 1996 he crossed the Alps with it.
