Autorenporträt
Dr. Johann Georg Schnitzer, born June 1st, 1930 in Freiburg/Breisgau, grew up in St.Georgen (Black Forest). After he was awarded his Bachelor of Arts in 1950 (Villingen, Black Forest), he studied dentistry at the University of Freiburg (1950-1954). Searching for possibilities to prevent tooth decay, his main interest concentrated on sources of natural health and causes of civilization ailments and degeneration. From 1963 to 1969 he carried out a study in a Black Forest village, to find out, if it is possible to reduce tooth decay on children by a continuous information campaign.
This successfull study became well known as "Action Mönchweiler", last not least by hostile and hectic activities of the lobbies behind this avoidable endemic degeneration of the dentition, who attempted to silence him down, which but was reported by the mass media.
In 1964, he warned all German politicians against the increas of chronic and degenerative diseases and the biological and economical consequences for the German population and economy.
In 1966, he was called by Prof. Dr. H. A. Schweigart as a member of the Scientific Board of the International Association for Research on Nutrition & Vital Substances. Because freshly ground cereals proved to be indispensable for health, in 1966 he became the inventor of the first modern household grainmills with milling stones.
Since 1963, he developed the "civilized origin nutrition", which proved efficacy to prevent and cure several chronic civilization diseases. In 1978, he found an effective therapy to cure diabetes and to prevent its later consequences. In 1985/86, he proved this nutrition's efficacy in a leprosy study in Sri Lanka; huge chronic leprosy ulcers healed up within weeks.
In 1987, he published at the Medical Week of Baden-Baden (and also in two books, one for patients, one for physicians) a therapy for hypertension, which cures it typically within 6-10 weeks without medication. Facing an endemic increase of degenerative disintegration of dentition, he developed and established since 1960 a systematical clinical sanitation of the dentition, preventing further decay, and optimized these methods during 4 decades. Already since 1958, he was warning against amalgam fillings, which release poisonous mercury into the body, including the brain.
In 1992, organized by the German Government's Development Institution GTZ on Ethiopian application, he carried out a study for the Ethiopian Genebank, how to optimize the use of East African food crops for a sufficient and healthy nutrition of the population. During this, he improved the health value of Ethiopian bread (Enjera, made from the grass-seed T'eff), and developed recipes for healthy home-made babyfood.
He published more than 20 books with hundreds of thousands of copies sold, also numerous studies, essays and articles. Also he succeded with technical inventions and patents.
In 1998, he started his Internet activities "Dr.Schnitzer's Health Secrets Service".
His most important goal: A synthesis of civilization and health, to allow mankind a healthy and happy life in an ecological balance with a rich, healthy, respected and well kept nature.
