Alexander Gaal: Epilogue This book is not the work of a perfect parent - but of someone who has learnt from experience. My name is Alexander Gaal, I am a pensioner and a father. I openly admit it: I did a lot of things wrong when bringing up my children. Not out of malicious intent, but out of ignorance, insecurity and the desire to do everything right. Like many parents, I was often faced with difficult decisions and only later realised which mistakes could have been avoided. With this book, I would like to help other parents to learn from my experiences. I see it as my job not to lecture, but to offer guidance and support. Every family is unique and there is no perfect parenting style. But there are principles that can make life with children easier, more harmonious and happier. As a humanist, I believe that we should pass on our knowledge and experience to make life easier for others. There are enough challenges in everyday life - if we support each other, we can avoid mistakes, make better decisions and guide our children with love, patience and understanding. I hope that this book will help you to make the first five years with your child more conscious, more relaxed and happier.
