The CAR has experienced political regimes of all kinds, which have played a negative role in the structure and functioning of the country's institutions. This has led to a loss of state authority, which has troubled the country's destiny, as well as the authority of its institutions. We are interested to know how these different political regimes, through their access to and exercise of state… power, have caused this loss of authority. Although the CAR does not have the status of an internationally recognized state, it is a state that has experienced a particular political trajectory and has fallen victim to the political regimes that have governed it. Factors such as corruption, political polarization, economic crisis, authoritarian regimes with excessive repression, diplomatic isolation, lack of legitimacy of political authorities.
