"So Thankful! Life Behind The Posts" Is the story of my life, with its struggles and triumphs. In 2013, I was at a low point in my life, feeling as though I was simply existing. Life had hit me with too many blows, and some mornings I felt as though I had no reason to get out of bed. However, one morning in November, I was on social media scrolling to find anything of interest, or uplifting, when… I came across a thankful Thanksgiving post from my niece. I felt challenged in my heart to follow suit, looking for something daily to be thankful for and to post it. What started out as a month long challenge, turned into a year-long journey, and the result is this book "So Thankful! Life Behind the Posts". Although there are 365 days in the year, "So Thankful" is condensed into 81 posts. You will find that each post holds its own separate story of survival. I reached back into the memory of my life to pull out and describe the storms that I faced with as much transparency as possible while remaining respectful. With each storm, you will also find how I found my way into the calm, and to celebrate in what was waiting for me on the other side. In reading my book, it is my hope that you too will become thankful for what you have in your life, and that God's transformative power will work in you through this book.
