Founded in 2000, the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation helps communities fight social ills and gives children the chance to alleviate their difficulties through participation in sport. It takes advantage of the passion people have for sports in order to effect social change and attempts to improve the conditions in which
children live. The Laureus World Sports Academy members, some of the most respected athletes of our time, visit the projects regularly to inspire the young people who take part.
