Ulrich Pfammatter (1945), PhD. Studied at the ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich. Practice, research and editorial activity was followed by an assistant post at the ETH Zurich, then subsequent teaching and professional work. Set up office with Christian Fierz (ArchStudio architects, Zurich). Responsible for numerous guest lectures, magazine articles, books and research activities: lecturer at the ETH Zurich, at the architecture schools in Horw-Lucerne, Chur and Burgdorf-Bern and at the School of Design, Zurich, teaching the history of design, art and architecture, construction and building technology. This book “Building for a Changing Culture and Climate” draws on the author’s many years of practice, research and teaching.
